I have a 2006 Cayenne that I just purchased. In the back seat, the rear facing center console lower door covers the 12 volt cigarette lighter. That door is spring loaded open. the latch won't capture the two pronged post that is on the door. I've tried pushing on the latch and generally messing with it w a small screwdriver. Is this a common failure point? I don't see a way to remove the latch itself for further troubleshooting. Any guidance?

Same problem here. On inspection, a white plastic bit in the female clip appears broken. I plan to order a new one.

is the latch by itself available, or do you have to order the whole stack or some other large and pricey component?
