Default 2004 CTT Drivers Memory Seat Problem

Hi all

The drivers seat in my 2004 CTT (RHD car) seems to have a strange memory for the fore / aft position. I have tried several times to set the seat how id like it and it appears to have memorised all settings apart from the fore / aft position which it always puts slightly too far back.

Its as if the key is remembering something different despite me setting the memory as number 1. Is there a way to make the seat forget everything so i can start over with my positions?

Thanks

Carl

Try reinitializing the control unit.
1. Switch ignition on.
2. Use seat adjustment switch to tilt backrest completely forward (as far as the stop).
3. Keep switch pressed in this position (approx. 5 seconds) until you hear a signal tone from the instrument panel.
The control unit is now initialized. Now try setting the memory function again.
