The GTS Cayennes are truly impressive for a SUV. Drove one yesterday and my local dealer found the one I was looking for in CA today. Should be here in a week or so.

Beautiful machine... I think the wheels you have (the all-silver Sport Editions) are the best choice for a black GTS.

Congrats on the full leather interior too!

The GTS is quite a vehicle and I think Porsche really struck a great balance in putting together a sports-type vehicle.

I drove the newest gts and it is a great car. The only thing Porsche left out on it is Pdk.

Thank you. For me the black exterior and 21" wheels make the look of the GTS. My wife is looking forward to taking delivery next week. She is trading her '11 X5d for the Cayenne so it will be a nice change for her. I'm a sucker for full leather interiors

Indeed! I expect to put 10k miles + on it this year pulling the RS around to DE's.

Handling reminds me a lot of the X5M I used to have. But the sound of the GTS is much, much better and of course no turbo lag. When the salesman started it up for a test drive, I could hear the burble and pop of the sport exhaust from inside the showroom.

Reason for no PDK is simple. That tranny cannot take to loads of towing, thus they stuck with the Tip but added two more gears

Slick! For what it's worth, I like the pano roof in my GTS and would probably get it again. My only concerns with the pano are creaking noises and issues with the mechanism given the added complexity. Oh, and there's the higher CG and weight that will hurt your lap times :-p

Thanks Steven! I like the panoroof and have had rhem in other cars but my wife always has the shade shut so no point. I didn't mind paying the $660 for it.
