Value 2010 Cayenne GTS Limited Ed 3
I've found a 2010 Cayenne GTS LE 3 and was wondering if this is a future collectible. I want to sell my 09 MB ML550 and get a 2009-2011 Cayenne Turbo/S but would consider this because of its limited production number of less than 100units for the USA. Thoughts, thanks.

I think Cayennes will be collectibles as much as 924s are. The GTS LE has mostly interior mods and I didn't think it was worth the $5-$10k premium that people were asking when I bought mine.

Hard to say if the Porsche Design Edition GTS would hold a higher value than the standard GTS. I can't say that I really love those stick-on decals however, I do especially like the interior red trim and the L-E dash plaque.

100% nope... only limited edition 911s may become classic in the future, not Cayenne.

Cause the average Joe is going to see it and buy it that way

Look back at the models which have held their value well and you'll see a common theme: performance. Cosmetic add-ons add little. Go ask the folks with 40th anniversary 911's what they think now.

I love my GTS, but I have never seen any Cayenne go up in value. It took many years for my minty 964 to start appreciating and that's all based on the air cooled mania. The smartest guys in the world are guys like us, picking these top shelf cars 4 years old. My GTS sold for $88,900. I bought it 4 years old for well under $50 k with 38,000 miles on it. It had a full dress crate engine replacement done at 18,000 miles due to a broken timing chain. Believe it or not, that hurt the value because of the CarFax. We just bought my wife a 997.2 with 4600 miles on it for $45,000 less then it sold for 4 years ago. We picked up a warranty for $3400. I'll never buy another new car. Not that many years ago, cars were spent at 100,000 miles. Now cars easily go over 200,000. Plus you can do a lot of repairs for $40k! It sounds like a great Cayenne. Buy it and drive the heck out of it. The GTS is one super fun truck! And yes, Porsche lists it as a. Truck.

I just got my 09 gts with manual tranny with 31k miles. It is an awesomely insane car to drive.
I do believe these will hold up the value better down the road simply due to rarity.
If you try to buy one today, you will find about three in USA and Canada.

It's not like a 928 GTS where there are only 406 of them and the model came to an end. The Cayenne is still being produced in big numbers and there is a current GTS version.

..I do not know if they are going to be "collectors" or not, but :
They are currently two of them (DE 3) for sales, with low miles, ..one having already a deposit on it, and on the other one, two guys are making bets on it !
I would love to sell our Titanium Edition (108k miles), with water pipes in aluminium, half shaft done about 20k miles ago, Pano Roof, air suspension, 20" Techno OEM wheels with new tires on them and etc.. But simply cannot find a good low miles GTS, (DE 3 or not) in the country !!
