Default Stainless bumper guard

Does anyone make a metal guard that fits on the top of the rear bumper to prevent scuffing while loading/unloading items from the rear storage?

Thanks

This was discussed on 6speedonline recently. As far as they can tell, no. The alternates discussed were a clear bra strip on the top of the rear bumper or the Porsche rear carpet mat which has a Velcro attached rubber protector that can be flipped out to protect the bumper. I bought the latter, seems to work well. If someone identifies another option, I would be interested.

+1 Sounds like an opportunity for a vendor.

I may be mistaken, but I believe VW's T-reg comes with a stainless piece on top of the rear bumper.

This works really well for me. Just my opinion, but if one bought a (no doubt) expensive stainless steel piece to go there it might hold up better than paint, but after a while it too would start getting scratched up and look bad.

FYI, a clear bra type protector is now available.

What holds the existing protection strip in place? I want to replace mine as it is schatched by a previous owner.
