Starter squealed at me this AM?

Starter squealed at me this AM?
Snap of cold weather here in NTX, and Turbo sat a day or two.....I start it this AM and the starter (i think) squealed very loud as the car fired up. Temps have been in 30s overnight. Might have been the serpentine?
Anyone experience this before at a cold start?
I get a some of failed first attempts when starting the Turbo, and have read about failing fuel pumps and starters. Bot sure how critical it is but diagnosing it definitively would be nice. I am planning on keeping this SUV until I can buy another Turbo, 2d gen.
