Default no rear battery?

Trying to locate the rear battery in my 2004 Porsche Cayenne :
1) Removed the spare tire
2) Removed the Bose Sub woofer
3) The rear area is completely empty and there is not rear battery to be seen

Qn:
a) Does this mean my car does did not come with a rear battery from the factory?
b) Just out of curiosity, has anybody seen this elusive rear battery? A picture may be.

Thanks
Chamilka

IJ2C is the option code for the dual battery setup.

If you've got the spare tyre and sub, you won't have the battery.
