Has anybody have experience with them? Considering a set of R-55's for the Pepper.

Turn and walk away.. nothing to see here. No, make that turn and run like hell.
I have personal experience with WD. I started out being a fan, but after I warranteed one wheel, and found the same issue with a second wheel (which they refused to warranty or help me with the manufacturer), I was left with a set of wheels that I'm going to have to pay to get repaired.
I cannot, in good faith, recommend them as a source for a Porsche wheel upgrade.
