Default Rear facing infant car seat in '04 (955)

Couldn't find pictures like in the 911 forums . Searched a bunch, didn't find a whole lot of threads...so.

Anyone have any pictures and thoughts on rear-facing infant car seats in a 955 (2004) CS? Looking at picking one up here, and didn't get a chance to fit the seat in just yet. But, I'm also looking for the nuances of kids + Cayenne.

I'm coming from a B5 Audi A4, which is just too darn small now for one infant + one 6yo + stroller + crap. My E39 M5 gets kid duty, but winter cometh.

Thanks in advance.

Any should work since it has LATCH. We test drove an older Cayenne while looking at a new one and our son's Orbit seat base went in just fine with the LATCH hooks. Nothing different than putting it in her e90 or my Escape.

It's been a few months so I don't really recall. It doesn't stick out as being any worse than the Escape or e90 though.

I'm running a britax with base in the middle of the rear seat on an 06 turbo s.

Works great.

Tangibly more room than in my e39 540i. Plenty of room for the front seats to move rearward. Room to seat two people in the rear with the baby seat in.

Perfect. Couldn't ask for more useful context

We loved it. The base was super easy to get in and out of any car we put it in (955, 958, x5, 328, escape, xc90) and now that he's moved to the toddler seat I really miss how easy rotating the seat on the base made getting him in and out.

If you really are looking at the Orbit, PM me and maybe I can save you some money by selling you ours

We just got a '04 Cayenne.

Initially, we used Britax carrier and base. Out daughter is now 8 months old, so we have now moved on from the "Carrier-Base" style.

We went with the Combi Cocorro as it has a low profile and allows the rear-facing seat directly behind me as the Driver (6ft tall) without touching the front seat. It will last until 40 lbs and can be used front facing as well.

We also have Clek Oobr Booster (also low profile, but high-back) seat for our 4 yr old. With both of those seats using the Latch system on the outside seats, there is still room for an adult in the middle (or another booster when we have a friend along with the 4 yr old.

Can either of your seats fit in your 996?

Having a 996 too I'm not sure you can do better than a booster seat in the back and in the front you need Porsche's child seat as it disables the passenger airbag when it is connected (and there is no other way to do that).
