Default Which Turbo to Consider?

There are a lot of choices.....

Wife says I need to ditch the Boxster and get a 4 seater.
Cayenne TT is calling me as I also have the need to
tow a race car from time to time.

I'm handy enough with a wrench and have access to reasonable priced indy for time consuming or challenging work. This would become my DD with a 928 and/or 951 as a back up (when they aren't being wrenched on :-)

I've found 3 categories of Cayenne TTs (with at least 2 or more available)

I'm rounding off the numbers.....
05 60K $25k
06 50K $35K
08 45K $45K

I'm going to assume all need the coolant pipe upgrade as well as a WP.

I've seen the good, better, perfect ratings -- but are they work $10k each step of the way?

Recommendations?

thanks,

Mike

'08 won't need coolant pipes. There is not enough difference between '05 and '06 to justify a $10k price difference, unless you're stepping up to a Turbo S, and even that is debatable.

All other things being equal... that '05 seems like the best deal to me. The '08 is almost double. Pocket the $20K and buy the '08 in 3 years.

The only thing I would add however is that the 08 is a very different car, I was shocked
