Parrot MKI9200 in Cayenne S
Wow... what a ridiculous job.
On previous cars, its took me 2 hours max. This took a lot longer...
AND my PCM still doesn't fit back to my satisfaction.
There is ZERO space behind the PCM once reinstalled, so needed to force it back in. (with a bit of pressure!)
The only switched 12v I could find was from the fuse box, so I have my parrot control box behind my glovebox - seems a nice fit.
The dual microphone is on the roof console near to the SOS & Parking Sensors buttons.
The screen sits just above the PCM over the heater outlets.
The line in, usb and iphone/ipod cable are routed into the glovebox - drilled a nice hole.
I orignally mounted the wireless controller on the aluminium strip near the drivers door but it seems to be too far away from the control box. So had to move it to the small coin tray near the gear stick.
In the process or trying to find a switched 12v, I took the PCM, CCU and Ashtray out... and broke the ashtray.
I'll have to buy a new one, but in the meantime is there anything else I could put there as I don't smoke?!
