Anyone have a connection that could get met the build sheet information (or copy of window sticker) for an '08 GTS Cayenne that I'm looking to purchase - I have the VIN.

Also would like to get the service/repair records (assuming P dealers have a common system that tracks this stuff) as well.

Any help would be appreciated in my quest to become a Pig owner.

Hoping to get this info pretty quick as I have a deposit on the car (long distance purchase) and just looking to verify the equipment and that it has been well cared for.

Thanks Mudman2. The link looks useful - perhaps in the future.

For now the seller has actually come through with a fax of the original window sticker so I'm good on that front. He also got the local dealer to send me a print out from the PIWIS (???) report which shows this car to have had 2 campaigns: 1) high pressure pump and 2) airbag control unit.

I now have two remaining questions, are there any other common issues/campaigns that an '08 GTS should have had?

Also what the seller/dealer did not send me was a record of the service performed thus far on the car. Are these records that are up to the actual dealer performing the service or is there a centralized database that any dealer can access?
