Default Order guide

I'm exploring a build for a diesel. Is there a sticky for an ordering guide available?

If not, can anyone make recommendations about options they feel are absolutely necessary? Trying to keep the build price down, and have a priority for the following to use the vehicle in deep snow...

1. Air Suspension
2. Will have summer and winter wheels, should I do the 21" as a part of the build?
3. Don't like in-dash Nav, but will do convenience package
4. Don't need premium or premium plus
5. Just want Bose, don't use CD or DVD's anymore, don't like satellite radio. Need Ipod connection only.
6. No need for exterior or interior doo dads or cosmetics
7. Just the 8 way seats please, keep it simple

Thanks for your comments.

I also run dedicated summer and winter wheels on my Cayenne. I prefer larger wheels for my summer tires (mine are 20") and I drop down to 18" for my winter tires. If you like the 21" wheels, then you should get them for your summer wheels. For snow, I prefer the smaller wheel with more rubber and a slightly more narrow tire.

order car with 18' rims and buy after market 20'' or 21" rims. that will save a small fortune.

Bose offers better sound, but you could respec the speakers and add an amp.Aftermarket audio is leap years beyond OEM. Small active subs are readily available. ipod still needs good sound [rip dependant I suppose]

Roof rails are only available ex factory, can't be retro fitted. Of course vaious brands will fit in the door jamb.

Bi xenons for safety ? Incl cornering lights. But then our snow roads are nothing like the interstates that drop you to the door in Colorado :-))

Lane change assist? good safety item & good reselling point.
