The Wall Street Journal endorses Mayor MPM's view
The Mayor of Cayenneville has repeatedly voiced his concern that the SUV craze is over, and that PAG is too late to the party with the Cayenne.
A big article in today's WSJ would lend credence to that.
It says Detroit is worried that consumers are souring on big SUVs, and that criticism by various groups is growing more vocal.
Graciously Mayor mpm has not issued a statement saying I told you so. (but then maybe he hasn't seen today's Journal)
Still President Schwab can take comfort in the statistics quoted in the article that last year one out of every four vehicles sold was an SUV, and that SUV sales rose 6% while auto sales overall dropped 2%.

Yeah, this is Chuck, the president of the Billboard Association here in Cayenneville. Mayor MPM has ordered that all billboard signs have "I told you so!!" put up immediately and to stay up until some company called Porsh recalls all their silly new SUV's to be returned to the factory over in Germany.
