Yep.. The BMW is X5 is racing at DAKAR and doing quite well. Better than the new VW Tarek.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

While it may be a semi-private effort the only way my faith in Porsche can be restored is to see a Cayenne TT in the 2004 Dakar!!

Yeah, but having a well prepped 450 HP TT Cayenne out there with them would be awfull good!

There's also a MB ML430, Yesterday one of the X5 (Luc Alphand team) had a power steering problem. Over all the X5 are doing grat, but not as the mitsu EVO.
If the cayenne will be on in 2004's Paris-Dakar, it has to be the Turbo and a very light weight version.
