Cayenne versus Touareg

Cayenne versus Touareg
Everybody are asking what are the main differences between Cayenne and Touareg except:
- styling interior/exterior
- engines
Is it true that they have
- same suspension, but differently tuned
- same 4wd, but different software, more bias to rear wheels to provide controlled oversteer
- they share same doors
- they share same roof

Same tranny as well. So everything post engine is the same except the brakes (Cayenne has some big Brembo's, which pretty much only matters to those that will track the car). Kinda makes you wonder if tuners will apply Cayenne shift and suspension programming to the VW's. Would that take even more of Wederlinking's (sp) thunder?

What I am beginning to wonder if the air-suspension is the same as the Touareg would explain its lack of availability since all Touareg's have it.
I feel the same about 4 zone air. Again a standard feature on Touareg. Are we losing out of features on Cayenne to Touareg???
So where is the distribution contract?

W12 is heavy (Touareg W12 is 2,4 metric tons) and very conservatively tuned (420 hp, only 70 hp per liter). Suits more to Phaeton. W12 is flagship engine for Toareg comparable in this perspective to Carenne Turbo.
Cayenne's Turbo engine is lighter and sportier(450 hp, producing 100 hp per liter). Torque zone is extremely wide and usable.
