you sure did!
But you have to admit porsche could have come out with more cars. don't say that's not a better idea. C'mon you know you would rather have more porsche sports cars coming out than a SUV.

"The cry was heard after the prototype 901 was revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show on 12 September 1963: 'It's not a real Porsche.' ... For some people ... the company had lost its way with the 901 ..." Peter Morgan, Original Porsche 911.
Oh, to be able to review Internet forum postings from 1963.
The decision's been made, the opportunity costs incurred, so just deal with it. -- Although the Cranky Old Man routine is entertaining.
Yeah, they're late to the game, but so was the X5 (so the critics said -- incl. me, and I was wrong); so, for that matter, was MB late with their new tank.
Granted, this is a bit like Freightliner deciding to make a zippy little spyder (which would be better looking than the C, no doubt), but I'm going to have to check it out.

Sorry- got distracted and didn't edit out. HAd an interesting chat with my dealer this pm. He just got back from a NA dealer meeting in Weissach and saw several C's at the research facility. Strangely, they wouldn't let the dealers drive the cars, nor were they driven in their presence. He also saw several MB SUV's stuffed with C running gear- the best kind of stealth testing, I guess. But why wouldn't you let your top dealers drive the damn thing and help build the buzz prior to full release? Very odd, but I'm still psyched to strap on a 400 hp SUV and see what happens. Tough to put golf clubs in my C4S and I just can't get rid of it to get an M5.
