Default P0344...cam sensor..easy fix?

New problem: Check engine light on, hooked up my cheepo scanner and got this P0344 error. I see its a camshaft positioning sensor 1 bank A.

How difficult is this fix?

I had this happen on my Cayenne a few years ago. I took it to the Porsche dealer for repair. He told me that this is not uncommon, and it frequently happens when you have dirty oil or haven't changed it for a while. He recommended more frequent oil changes than the manufacturer's recommendations. I've been doing that ever since, and I've never had the problem again. The dealer cleared the light, changed the oil and made an adjustment to the cam position according to my invoice. The total charge was $175.89.

thanks Dennis. The oil was supposedly changed when I got it a few months back. After this last fix I may be dumping this pig before its too late.
