At this point everything is just speculation, but I am interested in what everyone is hearing for the base pricing of the TT and the V8? From what I gather the v6 will be the last one out.
I have heard a wide range of prices from a lot of different sources, but never 65k for the TT. That is the range I heard for the V8.
I think the benefit of sharing the platform and a lot of the costs with Volkswagen is going to allow the Cayenne to have a technologically advanced V8 and V8TT. Hopefully they can keep the price of the TT below 80k though.
Yeah, I'm just quoting stuff I've read and heard. 65k for a Twin Turbo V8 anything sounds low but it probably wouldn't do any good to put it out there that the TT might be around 80 grand (not including mark up)if you're only making a few and most will go with the middle and base model.

If the v6 is in the low 40's I think it could actually be a pretty good deal. Like many people felt when boxster pricing was first announced, a low 40k SUV could and should open up a whole new market of Porsche owners.
I don't know if this is really a good or bad thing. Most Porsche owners that I come in contact with (friends and people at Porsche related events) don't really want to keep opening their arms to "new" people.
This issue has been debated a ton and I think that the Cayenne will continue to bring on a lot of controversy in that regard, but that is another post. For me, if they can keep the cost in the 75-80k range..."I'll take the TT please"

88clbsport,
how true a statement. When I owned a Boxster, 964, 993 & 996 owners always frowned upon me and refusing to acknowledge me even in a head-on pass by. Now that I own a 996, Boxster drivers always acknowledge me but 993 & 996TT owners tend to be very confrontational - speeding up and trying to force a reaction from me. Infact, 996TT drivers make a point by zooming past at high speed to just emphasis their point – mine is faster than yours!
I will take back my statement about taking a TT if the price is 75-80k. I just saw the official pictures and the only way I would buy it now is if the price is considerably lower.
I know you can not tell a lot from pictures, but from what I can see, there is no way I will be buying the Cayenne now.
I was going to try and justify due to the kid, dog, and having my wife also driveit. Now I am going to go in another direction. It's too bad, because I was really excited about the release...Porsche is going to be in trouble with this one IMO.
Profiling anyone is just a rose by another name. <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" /> <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" /> <img src="graemlins/jumper.gif" border="0" alt="[jumper]" />
I guess pricing would be important however we all know by now that Sports car prices compare like this;
Lambo - £150k +
Fez 360 - £100k +
Aston DB7 - £95k +
Porsche 911 - £55k +
Mercs SL - £50k +
BMW M3 or Z3M - £40k +
So a Porsche seems reasonably priced in the Sports Car world, certainly when the whole picture is considered - performance, reliability, image, residual value, practicality etc.
Clearly it should be priced higher than its immediate competition, ML & X5. In that context, the V6 Cayenne should start at £30k, V8 from £40k and the TT at £50k. In dollars I guess it would be V6 from $42.5k, V8 from $57k and TT from $70k.
If mass production units are to be pursued by PAG, then prices above will make sense.
