Has anyone installed clear side markers?

I had mine done at the dealer when I bought the Cayenne, he had the parts in stock and I bought it in NC. It's not like the 996 which just snap in. Apparently, the front wheels have to be removed as well as the wheel well liner. The labor alone was about $238. If you're going to do it yourself, make sure you use a hydraulic floor jack to lift the truck as the factory jack is very flimsy. I found this out when I changed my wheels and the truck rolled off the jack. Fortunately, I had already installed 3 lugs.
Scott, great to "read" you again. It's just not the same over on the "other" board. It's like we lost our best player. I hope all is well and still enjoying your TT. I know I am.

Installed mine a two weeks after I got the Cayenne S. I bought it from Gertz for about $37 for the pair, the shipping was $37 or there abouts as well. You don't need to remove the tire, I think the dealer just did that to add to labor cost. You only have to turn the tires to the right if you are replacing the driver's side and to the right for the opposite light. Then you remove the screws to free up the tire well and have one friend hold the tire well rubber down while you reach in to unscrew the light off. Sorry I didn't take pics of the process but it took less than half an hour without removing the tires. I'd post the after pics but all you really have to do is look at the pics from our friends in Europe's c car pics and there you have it. Hope this helps.
