i'd say there is. I drove in a TTP chipped CTT. Made about 540-ish HP. It also had the tranny chipped so that it would shift faster. Amazing. The difference in quickness is the similar to a Boxster S and a 3.6L (w/motor kit) 996. Also, I might add. Before the chip. I saw MPG at 10.6. After CHip; 9.9 to 10.3 MPG

There's interest! How will it affect the warranty?

It seems this is an already crowded market, with a small number of cars -- we're already hearing of several power-up offerings. If I were to go to the Turbo (and now that I'm considering a "down-side-limit" lease instead of buy approach, it's a strong possibility) then I would want a bumper-to-bumper-warranty-valid offering to take the car from 450 to 500 or 550hp (or even 600hp I saw in Europe adveristing) without suffering worse than the already woeful fuel consumption (equating to range, not cost) or finding the car wouldn't run on crappy California 91 RON etc. etc.

Gang,
For the moment no development is being done on the S only the TT. In fact GIAC should have the testing done on the TT and ready for release some time next week. I suspect no later than the week after if not next week. The TT is estimated right now at a 50HP increase similar to that of the 996TT and we will offer it in 91 octane, 93 octane and stock modes. Which leads in to the question about warranty. The three modes are controlled by the GIAC IBE switcher. This is a wireless key fob that allows you to switch programs at will on the computer. The best part about these switchers is if you roll into the dealer an do not want them to know you had an ECU mod push the wireless key FOB in stock mode. The system reads from the original chip that has been unaltered in the computer. The PSTII can read nothing in the way of mods and all flashes and updates are accepted. The dealer is clueless. You get your car back and simply push another button and your Cayenne is trying to rip the tires from the road.

I have been running this system on my personal car since Nov. They have even flashed my ECU and were clueless. They seem to be clueless in general, but that is another story. The estimated cost at this point is around 2500.00 for the ECU update. We can do them the day we get it and have it back to you within 24 hours. As of now the Cayenne TT will be the first release.
