Default 2012 CTT aftermarket exhaust: Tubi, Fabspeed?

Anyone have experience with either of these?

It would be nice to get a bit more rumble out the CTT without getting irritating (too loud, too much resonance, etc).

Yes, I know, it is money not spent on performance...

Thanks!

Try the sharkwerks bypass pipe. Pretty cheap, very good. Kind of a middle ground.

Bypass pipes and tubi are both good options. The bypass pipes produce a pretty aggressive tone, though not deep- more on the high end (w/ stock muffler) and loud on WOT- no drone. I haven't heard the tubi in person, however, they look to be a more conservative option. Albeit, a more expensive option.

I have a used Tubi for 958 Turbo if you are interested (used for 358 miles). The CTT sounds like a Saleen kinda deep rumble.

We have installed a few sets of bypass pipes on turbos and non turbos. Our won CTT runs fabspeed pipes. Not much, if any, sound change in the car, but outside it sounds great. Adds a nice rumble at idle and throughout the rpm range.

Cheers

It sounds really nice, but the wife didn't like the attention that it gets.

Default ctt bypass pipes

I ran the fabspeed bypass pipes which were great addition. Nice rumble outside but not obnoxious

After I had Tubi intalled on my 2011 CT,the difference was quite noticeable..especially at start up
It sounds like a big dog's growl roar and bark at the same time
Like a Harley with loud pipes, peeps will hear you from a distance
While before,I never really noticed the engine inside the cabin(thought it too muted)....well i definitely do now!it's a like a muted growl as soon as i even barely brush the pedal
While I love the sound and how my CT seems to breathe and accelerate better as well,I would only recommend it for those that are into cars(or bikes) and like it loud..not every one shares our enthusiasm..just my 2c and something to keep in mind

I has the Tubi installed by a local independent "German car" garage. Charged me 1.5 hours. I love the sound of the Tubi! Not too loud, fairly quiet when cruising, and great sound under throttle.

Highly recommend it if you want a little more sound in your TT!
