Default 22" Tire Options

I'm looking for 22" tire options. I have a 2011 Cayenne Turbo with 21" OEM wheels and tires. I just had my 22" Techarts from my '06 Silver Turbo S refinished black to match the Black 2011. I'm lokking for options for summer tires.
OEM 21's are 295 35 21 Michelin Latitude Sport
I would assume 22's in either 295 30 22 or 285 35 22.
I would appreciate and suggestions that you've been happy with.
Thanks!

Most guys go with the 285/35/22 all the way around. Some guys opt for the 285/45/22 for a smoother ride- personally I do not think it is necessary with the air suspension.

Something also worth mentioning, if you have a Turbo S, they would have a stagger wheel setup in the rear from the factory.

The Yokohama Parada Spec X tires seem to be one of the most popular tires on the boards. I bought a set last June and like them alot. However, lately, I started to wish that they were more sticky for my driving style. Oh well, I am sure the increased treadwear is worth the loss in stickiness.

I need to change my avatar. The silver Cayenne in my avatar is my old '06 Turbo S. The new one is a black '11 Turbo. When I had the 22" Techarts on the '06 I ran 285/35/22 (Don't remember brand) I thought since the OEM on the '11 are 295/35/21 I might try 295/30/22. I guess I'll get a bit rougher ride and risk mor pothole damage. But not a huge sidewall difference between 295/30 and 285/35.

You are right that the difference in aspect ratio isn't too much less in the 30 than 35. In the northeast, the potholes can be quite vicious. I don't think I would make that trade off unless the pros were much better- like sticker tires, much wider cross section- like 315 series rubber in the rear.

Don't forget that pothole damage often includes bent rim repair. I am sure getting a 22" rim repaired will make some shops see $$$

It appears the Yokohama Parada Spec X is an "All Season" tire. I run "winter" tires in the winter. I think I would prefer a "summer" tire. Any other suggestions?
