Default Coolant Pipe instruction PDF file

I am new to the board and this is my first post. I recently purchased a 2006 CS with 56k miles on it and found out about the coolant pipes AFTER purchase.

Anyway I have searched extensively through the coolant pipe replacement threads and I will be doing this repair this week (coolant pipes, starter, water pump, thermostat, serpentine belt)

I read the thread "Coolant pipes A-Z" and also searched the net to find instructions.

I didn't post this in the sticky thread because I didn't want it to get lost and would like the moderators decide its importance.

Here's a great PDF writeup with pics, torque specs and tips I found.

I hope this helps somebody (and I sure hope ALL the info helps me).

Thanks but it's already in the Coolant Pipe A - Z thread

https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...pipes-a-z.html

mxquattro posted it (#297 I think)

It came in very handy when I did mine, in addition to JohnnyBahamas instructions for downloading Porsche's Workshop Instructions.

Okay thanks, I guess I didn't read that far into the thread. Also, I'm sure this is somewhere, but tomorrow I'm doing the repair and replacing the starter as well.

Can you give any insight as to the grease to put on the starter gears?

I'm guessing it's some kind of Moly Synthetic but does it have to be high temp?

Thank you in advance.

Sorry, I did not do the starter. Personally I wouldn't replace the starter unless it's been bathed in coolant (from leaking coolant pipes).

Don't know if you saw my suggestions for removing the pipe ends but I included a couple of photos explaining it. Trying to cut that inner sleeve was a real bitch for me, I would not try to do it that way again.

A few tips in this thread.
