Ok. I hope it's not a head gasket but this is what's going on with my 08 cs 50k. Temp goes just over 180 in stop and go traffic. On highway temp is right at 180. No coolant leak anywhere. Engine runs a little rough. Temp only goes over for 15 seconds and then goes back to 180. I have noticed a little bit of white exhaust smoke but not a cloud. Any ideas?

Thanks spoke to dealer, completely normal for temp to go over 180 a little and then come back in stop and go traffic as well as hot days.
