Porsche has just announced that their upcoming smaller SUV in the lineup is not going to be called Cajun, but the MACAN.
What do you think of the new name?

Porsche -- "The name Macan is derived from the Indonesian word for tiger and combines suppleness, power, fascination and dynamics – core characteristics of the new off-road car."
I like the meaning, and frankly, as long as it drives correctly, its fine by me.

It was never going to be called Pajun, that's the rumoured smaller sedan. It was rumoured to be called Cajun.
I, for one, think the name is stupid. So long as it drives as well as the Cayenne and it's not priced too crazy it will sell like hotcakes no matter what you call it, so I guess that doesn't matter.

I think scetch looks pretty nice. Low roofline has got a bit of Land Rover Evoque in it, I say.
Coupled with the Aston tail lights of the 991. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
