GTS owners - how to mod the exhaust to keep it in Sport sound mode?
w/o needing to push the sport button on the console (unless also want the other sport settings)? In other words, I want to hear the car all the time, even when I do not want the other sport settings (shift points, throttle response, etc..).
I tried search and was surprised no posts on this. It is likely easy but just wondering if anyone has already done it and knows how.
I have done this on a few other modern cars I have owned recently, a BMW 335& VW R32, etc.. All these two-stage sport exhausts use a vacum operated flap valve.
It is most likely either simply removing the vacum line to the flap valve controlling the second set of pipes, and plugging it with a golf tee and ziptie it up out of the way. Or, manually pull the little arm on the flap valve and tie it off in the "open" position with some firm wire (short piece of hanger wire?) or a couple zip ties.
If no one already knows I'll post up results after I figure it out.

You already figured it out - 2 vacuum lines, one on each side. Pull, cap the valve side, zip tie the line closed. Take a look under there - they're very easy to see and disconnect - 5mins if you have everything ready...

As long as you are aware that a mod like this will not alter the transmission sport shift setting as well. For this setting to be active, you still have to engage the console-mtd button.

I will be able to hear my roar even when tiptoe'ing on the ice and snow, driving in a relaxed mode, etc..

There are two vacuum-operated actuators (valves); one on each side of the rear muffler outlet pipe to the rear exhaust tips. You must physically disconnect the linkage to the exhaust valve pivot on each side. They are both accessible from the bottom rear of the vehicle (see attached photo).

Has anyone tried this on a 2013 GTS?
Do you have to completely remove the link? Is there a screw connecting it? Or do you just simply pull hard and it will come off?

I assume this does not exist on a turbo, can the GTS mufler, hoses, valves etc be fitted? I would like an option to be loud then quiet, vs cat bypass pipes.

Add install labor to that and it becomes ridiculous.
I have plugged the actuator vacuum lines so PSE is always on. It sounds just right to me, no need for a switch to disable IMO.
If you install just the P muffler and tips the cost may be a bit more reasonable.
There was a post recently with a shot of a P muffler on a S (?). It had extra muffler outlets with plugs. If you have the same muffler then maybe just some pipe work for always on sport mode.
