I am trying to find out which version of the PCM 3.x and version of the system has the clock display added to the small TFT screen. Can anyone confirm which version and software version is the most up to date?

If you do not have a 2002 model, then you will be unable to have time rather than temperature. That was a modification for the 2002 model year and cannot be retrofitted to the prior model year. It is one of the reasons I traded my 2011 Cayenne for a 2012 model.

The limitation is that Porsche will not provide a software update to include a time display.

But they do for 2012 in Germany (or the supplier). I wonder who makes the unit.

Do you mean in Germany they will upgrade your PCM to the latest software version? For free? From Porsche, no way!
