I have the white exterior and the "tan" interior (whatever that is called) and the combo looks great. not real hard to keep clean at this point.

in 2008 i got my boxster & it had natural leather - same month i got my cayenne & it was standard black leather - didn't have natural in Cayenne's back then - anyway after 3 years they both looked good. i think it all gets back to taking care of the product. Conclusion - i don't really see much difference in the types of their leather having owned both.

BTW - the turbo i spec'd had natural grey but the turbo i bought had black - again didn't really see much difference.

to your question - i have seen the umber & it is the FIRST brown leather i have ever seen from Porsche that i really liked. i would really consider custom ordering it on a new 911 or boxster.

Extremely valuable input from someone who has owned both. Mike in Ca who has owned several Porsches also has the same thought. Too bad ... I have already spent the additional $$$ for natural leather on both the C4S and the CS. So now I have to continue to convince myself that it was worth the upgrade.

Amar, you can console yourself with the fact that, on the Cayenne at least, the two tone combo you got was only available in Natural and it looks great......

Mike, I am noticing some darkening of the cognac (which I love) with Leatherique oil conditioning which is certainly a plus with natural leather. Would be curious to see if owners with beige interior are seeing this effect. Gosh, that first shot of EnigmaWmn's interior is stunning. Got to admit.
