Default Muy Caliente!!....on the negative side

GTS went to the dealer for a slave cylinder replacement under warranty and has been find for 2.5 weeks. Today, after running an errand, the clutch flew - yes flew, to the floor upon engagement. Pulled it up while venting over a likely repeat repair only to have it fly to the floor again.......or should I say firewall?

Noticed smoke......wth?!

something dripping under the truck......wth?!!

dripping becomes flames.....wtf?!!!!

Very curious how the dealer and/ or Porsche will handle this.

Cause is unknown - happened this morning. my assumption is a faulty dealer repair of the slave cylinder - either clamp was not put on properly or hose got nicked. Long shot is something systemic w/ mater cylinder, but since mine is...was an 08, doubt it a manufacturers defect.

Glad you got out OK --- I'm surprised it did not consume the whole car once it got going

if dealer denies then porsche is on the hook as it's still under warranty. Dealer won't have a leg to stand on given the repair they just performed and the symptoms prior to ignition.

Don't care who ponies up, but one of the two is providing me w/ a replacement GTS, as well as repairing/ replacing my garage door and driveway. Or I'll have one word for them - lawyer.
