Default 2008 cayenne s wheels interchangeable question

a friend of mine has access to boxster and Carrera wheels. Do any of the 19 or 20 inch sportscar wheels fit the cayenne? I ask because I can get a great deal on a set.

I seriously doubt it but you might check the www.WheelEnhancement.com web site for the specs on each of the cars wheels.

I thought the lug spacings were the same pretty much all the way around (5x130). I know Cayenne wheels will work on a 944 with proper spacers.

It depends. Many aftermarket wheels are crap, but others are very high quality, lighter than OEM with comparable or better strength. Like most other things, you get what you pay for. Don't expect to get OEM or better quality wheels at bargain prices.

First off, the offsets are off between the Boxter/Cayman rims and those of the Cayenne. Second, the Cayenne substantially weighs more than the Boxster/Cayman as wheel strength and potential failure due to overstressing an underated wheel comes to mind. Finally, using spacers on any given rim is not a viable solution to long term driving. Porsche does not recommend the use of spacers on the Cayenne's front hubs for obvious reasons.
