quad exhaust tips without replacing lower valence
Is fabspeed the only company out there that offers quad tips that will fit a 2005 CS? I find that hard to believe. There are a million different exhaust companies out there making exhaust for cayennes. Are there any other options without replacing lower valence? The fabspeed are very $$.

I bought mine off of ebay from a seller in Germany (lots of aftermarket parts/dealer, mostly other brands). Unfortunately they placed the listing (Buy it now) and then proceeded to take their 2 week vacation. Long story short, I had them about 6-7 weeks later and the quality was fair. One tip sticks out further than the other but you have to look at it it notice.
Yes, I had to replace/paint the lower valence. It was quite an expensive mod for just a pair of exhaust tips......

Exactly. With all the Cayennes out there you would think there would be more options. I thought about having a local exhaust shop make something up, but considering I have the only Cayenne in my city, I'm not too confident having a local shop weld up something for a car they have never even seen before.

I have looked at your gallery. I have a guy in town who services my vehicle. He recommended a local exhaust outfit. I sent them a picture of yours. They seem confident in their ability to fab up a set similar but for about half the price. The only thing I don't like about the ones you have/had is I think they are too shiny, at least for my liking. I'd love to have what you have/had and powder coat them black. I just find it hard to believe that is the only option, the fabspeed version. I would replace the lower valence if I was doing a whole new system, but for just tips, doesn't seem worth the expense.

Got a call back after viewing yours and fabspeeds pictures. He said he could do that for 100/side. Two hundred bucks and that's chrome, black chrome or powdercoat. I wish I could see your set on a silver Cayenne. Just hard for me to picture since you have the black lower valence and darker color. I don't know, for just tips, I'll see what he comes up with and post pictures. If it was full exhaust I'd pay the premium, but for tips?? For 200 bucks, powder coated...It's worth a shot.
