What a difference two weeks makes - V6 to Turbo

About two weeks ago I began a search for my first Cayenne to replace my '01 Audi S4 which I have had for 248K miles. I started out looking at V6's with manual. Then Looked at CPO's - mostly '08's with V6 and S models. Then moved up the food chain to '06 Turbo. So I would like to get your collective thoughts on an '06 Turbo vs '08 S. I have two in mind. Both CPO's. The '08 S is lightly optioned. I know the Turbo has a pano roof but do not know beyond that. The S has about 40k miles and the turbo about 49k miles. Both are basically the same price - high 30's. So which would be the better vehicle to live with. Obviously the turbo would be more ***** to the wall exciting. But I want a vehicle that I can live with every day - including 5-6 months of snow here in Maine. As you can see from my Audi, I keep cars till they drop. While the two Cayennes will be covered till 100k miles, longevity beyond that is key.
Given the same money, and warranty, which would you do?
Thanks

I was in the identical situation as you. I to had a B5 S4 that I ran into the ground. I looked at an 04-05 CS and 04 CTT. I could NOT live without another twin turbo!
Get the CTT. Keep that TT feeling alive!!

The turbo is a better car in so many ways. Not just the power but all the other little options you probably don't even know are different at this point.
The 08 is mostly just a face lift over the 06 with minor tweaks. Get the 06 Turbo!!!
Fwiw, I'm also a B5 S4 survivor. I escaped the insanity at only 168k miles with a full stage 3+ car.

The S will get better mileage than the V6 or the turbo. But, as others have said the turbo comes loaded with standard options (like the air suspension) that you won't likely get on the S.

Not always true depending on where you live and how you are driving.
When not in the boost the Turbo will act just like the NA V8. I some cases even more efficient for pulling grades, etc.
Now.....when the throttle is down! Nothing will consume fuel like the turbo!!
Edit, fwiw I pretty consistently get 17-20 mpg in my chipped, BPV, 22" tired CTT.

Damn. With all you guys also coming from the B5 S4 I sort of feel like I am in an intervention - not that I would like really know what that really feels like....
The CTT I was looking at sold. Was a great deal - $38k CPO with 49k miles. There is another. There is always another.
Should I just stop screwing around and get a CPO CTTS?
Cayenne is just another drug, and the V6 is the "gateway."

....and with it all outside of the car!

The CTTs is nice if you can find one for the right price. Easy to chip a CTT and put ut the same power as the CTTs. Lowering module is slightly different, different intercoolers, control arms and brakes in front. All of which can usually be added for less than the price premium the CTTs carries, not always, just usually.
