Question PCM Minimum Volume,

was going to mention it on the survey when it comes but one thing that has bothered me both on my '11 and '12 has been the "minimum volume" on the PCM unit.... both vehicles have been non Bose, non Burmeister, non Nav units (so people with these units might have a different outcome)

basically their is "no sound" and then one click gives you way too much sound, most cars having about 4-5 levels in between our one level...

curious if this affects anyone else on the board, or... if it differs in the other head-units? it only bothers me when i have people in the vehicle (intrusive to talk and have that 1 click volume as its too loud)

I'm sure it's completely different. But my '04 does the same thin if 'audiopilot' is selected. That's a Porsche term for auto volume control.
