My 04 CS recently developed a strange issue. After parking it for a few days say 3 days, it will ignore the key (normally you'll hear a click once insert the key, like it lockes on the key). Nothing happens if you try to turn key right. I am able to bring it back to life if I turn key left first, then the "click" thing will happen and now I can ignite. But all my settings and clock are reset.

Has anyone heard of this issue? The car has 60K miles, it runs great except this annoying electrical issue...

 

Probably time to change the battery in the remote.
