Ordering a 2012 V6 Manual...need help options...PASM, PDCC...
Hey Guys,
I am getting ready to place my order for a 2012 V6 Base Cayenne with manual transmission. I think I have everything I need in place, just not sure which of the suspension handling items are truly necessary as they are pretty big ticket cost adders. Do I need PASM, air suspension, PDCC?
What are your guys thoughts and opinions? I'd like to be able to stiffen up the suspension for occasional fun driving but I would imagine the bone stock suspension ain't too shabby either.

I have a 2009 Cayenne V6 and the stock suspension is quite stiff (I also have a CaymanS, which is go-kart stiff).
It's definitely stiffer than other comparable German SUVs (x5, M-class, Q7).
I have heard good things about the air suspension, was thinking of ordering it on my 2012 CayenneS. For me, the best feature is the ability to adjust the ride height. PDCC would definitely flatten out cornering.

I went thru the same thing when ordering my 2011 V6 manual. I wound up getting PASM and PTV. I think it's the perfect combo if you're looking for like sports car handling. I use PASM all the time. comfort in the city, normal on highway and sport around town.
From my research, air suspension is more for comfort then anything else. I felt it would be cool but unnecessary. Would have loved PDCC though, but that went out the window cause I wasn't getting air suspension (need AS for PDCC).
There are a ton of treads on this too, here and on 6speedonline. Good luck! You're getting a great automobile!

Ended up getting just ordering PASM for now- however the wait for a manual transmission cayenne is forever and i keep adding options to my build. PTV would be next but then it puts me over $70k which is my limit.
