Just noticed that i'm a liter and a half low after only 6,000 miles. I know these cars eat oil but i didn't think the V6 would go thru this much. Think i should have the dealer take a look?

thanks. I have read most of that and it seems that oil consumptions issues are mostly on V8s and TT's. I was curious to hear about others with V6's.

hey GBX-- I've got a V6 6 speed like you. I'm at 5500 miles. I've burned some oil, but am at one bar above low. I think it's pretty typical to burn some oil during the break-in period.

I took mine in at 1700 miles for open campaign WA82. Service Dept stated they checked oil levels and topped it off, but didn't say how much. I just checked the oil other day, now at 6k miles, still full. I haven't added any myself.
