P!G is an acronym. It represents the embodiment of the entire Cayenne Experience:

P = Porsche
! = Exclamation (duh, it's a Porsche!)
G = Geniusness

(BTW, you seem new. All the popcorn signs mean people want you to ask another question...)

For Irishman - https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...48138-p-g.html

For you, Bill (and I'm disappointed with your STFF skills) - https://rennlist.com/forums/8761277-post4.html

I did a search on the term "P!g" and found exactly 500 threads returned. Naturally, since the threads were in chronological order I went to the oldest 3 or 4 threads (March/April '09) looking for the origin of the term, it wasn't there, the term pre-existed those threads.

Telling a nOOb to STFF is appropriate if they come on asking about coils or coolant tubes (we even have threads stickied for that) but the origin of the term P!g is a little more ambiguous than that.

Maybe we should start a thread "What every nOOb needs to know" and include it there.

LOVE this idea. Go Bill!

But I think there should be two threads: the Stickied thread called "Look Here First Google Landing Grocery Buying Suburban Soccer Moms with $100K to Spend", filled with nothing but mythology, smoke and mirrors, warnings about Trannys, pics of mutilated P!G parts, etc.... and embedded at the very end a link to The Real Newbie thread (titled something fitting, like "PopCorn").

My kids - like all Google Landing Grocery Buying Suburban Soccer Moms' kids - play video games. Some games they swap with their friends. My favorite is Legend of Zelda. Everyone knows that if you squat on Level 3 near the bush with A & B buttons held down, and jump 6 times in a row with your flaming sword held high, you unlock the Secret Level (or something like that). But not a damn kid in CA has actually read (nor owns for that matter) the little guide book that comes with the game. You gotta know someone, who knew someone, who knew someone... forever back to Moses and Abraham, Adam and Eve.

Maybe label the Sticky Thread, "Beware All Who Enter Here..."

Hey, watch it with the tranny warnings!

Andrew, Dennis, and Eric should look for a package by week's end.

The Vatican should expect a delivery by week's end.

Someone, ahem, appears to have failed to notify fulfillment.
