it looks like it is under the arm rest in the middle. how come the noise is from under the PCM?

I changed the secondary battery under the subwoofer but it does not improve the situation. the radio comes and goes and lost the preset stations and even the language settings.
any suggestions guys? I wonder if it is the capacitor in the PCM head unit got toasted.
