958 Towing vs 955/957
I have an 04 CTT which i use for towing and am very happy with it. imho- best combo of towing capacity/functionality and fun-to-drive transport while not towing.
I'm starting to eye the 958 TTs. Given the weight reduction of the 958, etc, curious about peoples' towing experiences with the 958 vs 955/957. Specifically, does the lighter 958 translate to less stability, etc?
also, no issue with increased engine temps while towing with 958?
TIA

can't compare older Cayennes but i had a VW treg for 6 years and the 2011 cs tows much better than the VW. I think it being able to set the suspension on sport and keep the ride height on normal. seems more stable than the vw.

While it may have lost weight, the wheelbase of the new Cayenne/Touareg is up by a couple of inches. Longer is better for towing stability.

thanks for the responses, guys.
no direct comparisons out there?
my only towing experience is with the the CTT-- with the air suspension-- and i think it's pretty darn stable even with winds and tractor trailers, and without stabilizing bars, etc. haven't been too concerned with that (yet).
