tow rig pic
Just snapped an iphone pic that came out OK showing my new to me 04S hooked up to my 944SPEC car which I just painted Porsche Jade Green.
This set up tows wonderfully. It should the car weights only 2,450lbs wet.

Do you have additional details on that setup?
How/where does that mount connect on a 944?
Do you have it setup so the 944 tail and brake lights are functional with the Cayenne?
Not sure I recall seeing this setup before in the P!g Pen.

Lights - simple magnetic trailer lights that instead of sitting on the roof of the 944 I mount to the underside of the roof on the inside of the car. No headliner means plenty of metal to stick them to.
Tow Bar - I have a 'tow bumper' and a 'race bumper'. Nice thing about '44s is cheap parts. $20 for an extra bumper. This way I have the tow bar mounts robustly bolted to the one bumper and with just two 19mm swap out for the clean race bumper. They frown on racers have sharp horns on the front of bumper
Flat towing is great, as long as you don't need to reverse. Only when reversing do the car wheels get crossed up. With agressive camber on race car it tracks real nice.
Race car has steering lock removed as per safety rules so no need to unhook battery and keep key on(which is what many flat towers do behind RVs).
Only disconcerting thing is looking out rear window and seeing the race car tucked up tight to back of Cayenne. Ultimate tailgater! My previous tow rig was a Grand Wagoneer so this is a dream set up for me.
