CS gets a younger, faster sibling.
2009 997TT. Check out the thread titled "Finally" in the 997TT forum. Obligatory crappy cell phone pic below.
I know Cayenne owners don't miss much. Thus, some of you are probably thinking: "That truck in the background doesn't look like a blue '05 CS !" (Apologies for the !) Of course, you are correct. It's a loaner while my CS, like many aging beauties, "has some work done". The loaner is fairly impressive; 2011 Q7 with the 330hp supercharged six. It's as fast as a 6 year old CS. Only slightly lacking in brakes and handling. Interior is loaded. Sure it's bigger, but I have a family. Stickers @ $62K. I am guessing that's about $20k less than a comparably equipped 2011 CS. No, I am not considering one or I wouldn't be doing the coolant pipes on my CS. I just wanted to troll the p!g pen and see what you all thought.
P.S. The 997TT is REALLY great!

Congratulations on the 997Turbo.
09... That has which engine, the new 9A1 or the M64 GT1 Mezger?
I forget which year was the cutoff.
The Q7 looks very nice, much nicer interior and exterior styling than the new P!g IMHO.
Enjoy it with the best of health.

I really like Audi's and have owned 3 including our A3 TDI. Fit and finish are exceptional. Although the Q7 is a very nice vehicle I'm put off a bit by the massive nose and the slab sided styling. Like all Audi's the interior is perfectly executed but looks dated to me compared to the Cayenne's. Also, at 5200 lbs it outweighs the new Cayenne by almost 600 lbs which has real downsides for perfomance and efficiency. The current one is scheduled to be replaced soon by one based on the new Cayenne platform. I looked at Q7's but chose the Cayenne instead, not least because I wanted a V8 which is unavailable on the Audi. Still, your dealer gave you a really nice loaner!
Oh, and congrats on the new TT. Enjoy it!

And I see that there is hope, for x-Cayenne owners to find the light!

Ex Cayenne owner? I don't think so, he just having the coolant tubes replaced...so he's still in the P!g Pen for a while longer...

I am from the race on Sunday sell on Monday school.
But it seems that the new marketing team, now leading Weissach, thinks that we are becoming a minority..
PS
I don't know why but putting the letter x before the words "Cayenne owner", comes naturally to me when I type..

As Pops requested...
...some non-cell phone pics. My wife took these with some kind of digital Nikon (Don't ask, that's all I know about it). I had to seriously downsize them from 3-5mb to the Rennlist limit of 146kb.
