Default Lower Control Arms**Check

Well, just replaced the front lower control arms on my 04 S. Front bushing completely torn on both sides. 1st side was a royal PIA! Second side easy

Here are some tips if you are planning to do it...[LIST][*]The bolts that hold the control arm bushing to the frame have a groove for the washer key. If you turn the bolt head you will strip the washer/key and it will be a major PIA to get off-possibly needing a new bolt. Make sure to turn/remove the nut side (even though you have more room for a ratchet on the bolt side)[*]Remove/tie up the brake caliper, remove rotor, dust cover. This will allow you to use the pickle fork with easy access from the front. Before I did this the fork wouldn't pop out the ball joint. Not enough room to hit the fork far enough. [*] Don't attempt this on the one of the hottest days of the year...I dont know why I waited to do this yesterday.....

I took the camera out to take pictures and only shot two picutres before and after....completely out of my mind. I wished I would have taken more so everyone could have learned from my struggles....I used stock arms only because I picked them up prior to reading the turbo S has better bushings. I am going to order the bushings and press them into the old arms....
