OK my 2003 Cayenne has had this problem since i had it. When you lock the car with the remote the fillar cap cover unlocks and pops open slightly as it should if you press the unlock button in the door card i guess. Then if you push it down its locked. So what would cause it to release and unlock when locking the car with the remote? Any ideas?

I am guessing a faulty switch in the door. When you shut the door it jars the switch enough to activate it?
