Default 2012 CS Pricing

I am close to pulling the trigger on a pretty heavily optioned CS (Premium pkg plus, panny roof, etc). MSRP just at $85,000; invoice is about $75,000. Dealer is offering invoice plus $5,000. Seems like a great deal considering the demand. Am I missing something here?

Great deal for an order car.....that's a little below 6% discount. Still a good deal if it's a car on the lot. I only got 4% in my ordered Cayenne. Given the demand, I would go for it.

I agree with pg103. When I ordered back in December I got almost 4.5%. When the closer at the dealership saw my price at the end of April, he was surprised and said I was getting a great deal as they are hardly discounting at all now; your price looks pretty good. My only question would be, is the car a demo or brand new?

Custom order. Will take 60-90 days for delivery.

That's a great deal on a custom order. Go for it.

Great deal, and I'd have no problem driving nearly 800 miles to get a deal like that on a Cayenne built to spec. Here, the dealers want MSRP.

Sign the docs before they change their mind. Very good deal indeed.

When you first approached your dealer, did the salesperson say they sell only at MSRP due to the high demand and the limited allocations? Were any or all the other dealers in the area willing to discount? Maybe it's a regional thing. I have no problem with travelling in order to save 5-10K.

Second dealer in my area offered to match the price.

LOL. I got one last year, but was curious about current pricing. The dealers in the bay area never seem to have any in stock. Good luck, sounds like you're getting a great deal.

I can't find any bay area dealers willing to sell for a dollar less than MSRP. One guy told me even their best customers with multiple 911 sales won't be getting any discount.

Seems clear that the Cayenne market in NC is a lot softer than it is in CA.
