Center Console/Arm Rest
Regarding the 2 piece center console/arm rest on my '10 GTS:
The upper lid opens to 90 degrees and stays there, but the bottom section will not stay upright, it falls down to around 45 degrees or so. Is this normal?

Yes, the bottom portion springs open to about 30-45 degrees and hangs there.
One of the most badly designed storage armrests that I've come upon has to be this one. You have to be Harry Houdini to contort your upper body around to inspect the contents of both upper & lower compartments.
A side-opening armrest cover would have been more logical.
