Default Cayenne Turbo - WeatherTech DigitalFit REAR FloorLiners and hump

I've spun off thus issue from:
https://rennlist.com/forums/porsche-...r-cayenne.html

I have a 2008 Cayenne Turbo. I've purchased the DigitalFit FloorLiners from WeatherTech (MacNeil) to protect the floor from the elements. I went ahead and purchased all three rows: Front, Rear, Cargo.

The FRONT FloorLiners were a PERFECT fit.

The CARGO Liner was a 99% fit with a misalignment where the back seats meet the left tire well. Acceptable and correctable by the user.

The REAR FloorLiners that goes "Over-The-Hump" did not fit over the hump. The hump in my car is bigger than the hump on the Liner. A whole inch taller as a matter of fact.

According to other Cayenne owners with the REAR FloorLiner, most of them have no problems. What I've noticed is that they all have the Regular, S, or CTTS. Not the regular TURBO. Is the regular turbo the only one with the larger hump over the driveshaft? Maybe a Stuttgart/Leipzig difference?

A week ago, I contacted WeatherTech about this, and they wanted photos - which I've provided. They told me that their engineers/techs are reviewing this issue. I wonder if they'll be willing to re-make a mold for a now out-of-date model, give me a refund, or just screw me. I'll wait a few more days and see.

I've heard of the rear hump height issue before on early Turbo models. It seems to be model-specific. Let us know what McNeil reports back to you. They seem like a reputable company that stress the importance of buying a North American product in their product marketing.

After a long slushy and salty winter, I can report that the Weathertech floor liners are truly the finest design in containing fluids and preventing spillage onto the carpet surface. This past weekend, I swapped out the winter units for the summer ones and there was aboslutely NO salt stains to wash off. Zero.

I bought the front and rear after reading the other thread.
I'd rate the fit as very poor. weather tech customer support offered to refund my purchase, but even with the poor fit, the lip that covers the carpet/door sill section makes the floor liners worth it.
for my 2008 gts the front passenger side has a big cut out section(by the drawer under pass seat) that allows the water to drain onto the carpet. the front section of the liners aren't tall enough and both sides are almost an inch too short.
for the rear hump, I cut out quite a bit of material to make the liner fit.
even with the fitting issues, the digitalfit liners have done a better job then the all weather version I had previously.

Well, the engineers couldn't give any other explanation other than a "trim difference". Of course it's a trim difference, I could tell you that.

Anyways, McNeil sent me a FedEx label and I sent back the rear liner for a refund.
