Default Water soaking interior

Hey guys/gals got a question for ya.

HVAC condensation leaking in to the interior and soaking the carpets. Had a phone call today on an '06 that wanted me to take a look at it, and since I don't know the cayennes like the others, I don't want to give out any bad information.

Where would one want to start looking for the HVAC drains?

I do know where to look when it comes to leaves and debris clogging the roof and outside drains but am clueless on the above.

Thanks in advance.

You may have to peel back some carpet on the passenger-side footwell to find the body grommet which leads the hose outdoors.

While you're in there, check your pollen filter. A blocked filter can cause air restriction and freeze up the evaporator coil. This may also cause leaking water.

Another possible water leak source is the sunroof drain. Mine was blocked at the front left corner and dripped water down the inside of the windshield.

Working on our 928's are a walk-in-the-park as compared to the almighty P!G.
