Manny, I dont know about the price in the States but just search/scroll through all of the other posts asking the same question, I have been through about 50 pages and you will soon learn what to look for , plastic/metal pipes, valve chests, coil packs, clunking from the carden shaft and plugs, headlights etc......a 2004 over in the UK would cost you about $19k

Manny I purchased a 2004CS with 41k mi. 17 months ago via a private party transaction. Teal exterior, gray interior, one owner, with new tires front brakes and rotors.
$21K.
The used market was soft at that time, sounds like things have changed.

Hard to believe the depreciation. Seller supplied the window sticker and maintenance records...MSRP was 60K.

Bought an 04 CS in Chicago with 27k miles 3 years ago for 26k. So 23k now seems a little high although realize markets vary.

Manny....just bought an '05 S (with all options minus Turbo + 22" Porsche rims) in Houston w/ 79k miles for $19k. As with previous posts above, you need to have the VIN checked at the dealer to find out what has been done to it as the costs associated with certain repairs could make you think twice if these were yet to be done. For that price you are considering I would at the minimum want to confirm that the coolant pipes, and ignition coils were replaced. The coolant pipes in particular is a $1500 job and you'll want to make sure they replaced them with aluminum as opposed to the original plastic ones. Additionally, the ignition coils would have been updated up to possibly version Porsche p/n 94860210407. If not, then their could be possible failure in the future to the tune of $800. Also, if the pipes were not yet replaced and you had to do them yourself and you did not catch in time, you could also have to contend with possibly replacing the starter and / or the transmission seal due to the hot coolant that would leak onto the areas. I do know the transmission seal job is about $2,000 (part is only $15) as they have to remove the entire tranny. This job was performed a week after the coolant repair. My suggestion to you is to do research before you settle on any vehicle.

Yeah, but then it's kind of difficult to answer the following:
