Question Off Road Recovery Kit?

What do you guys have in your "Off Road Recovery Kit"?

when i pickup the truck i'll be going thru snowy mountains and driving thru sand and such... want to put together a recovery kit just incase,

thinking:

Recovery Strap 2"x20'?
2 D Ring Shackles
First Aid Kit
Tire Repair Kit
Tri Fold Shovel

any idea's or does some company sell a pretty good kit (thats not overkill)

btw the "Bushranger X Jack" looks like the coolest thing since sliced bread (inflates off tail pipe to lift 8800lbs using exhaust! (overkill))

I carry a small duffel bag with the things on your list, plus jumper cables, work gloves, lock deicer, 12V air compressor/worklight, and a collapsible saw (always having tree limbs falling on my driveway). I just leave the bag on board unless I need more cargo or passenger space. Has saved my a$$ on several occasions...

A sleeping bag, and some MREs. Recovery might not be an option.

does the cayenne not have a compressor in it? my 997.1 and 997.2 both had miniature compressors in the frunk to inflate the spare, the cayenne has a collapsed spare so wouldn't this need a compressor in the car?

^ it does, but the one I've got doesn't take up much space and has a trouble light that has come in handy. Come to think of it, most of this stuff would fit in the wheel well around the spare.

I carry tow straps to pull F150's and Chevy 1500's out of the ditch. JK

Make sure you have a cold weather windshield washer fluid that wont freeze and split your tank.
